One of the biggest problems that I have found is that if you have a pre-existing condition - you do not qualify for a individual policy ANYWHERE.  If you are not a single parent - you dont qualify for medicare.  If you make too much money (ie work at all) you dont qualify for medicare.  So what is a person to do????

Everyone that i have talked to has told me to go thru COBRA, and when it finished you get a certificate of completion and can go from there.  DO NOT GET SUCKERED INTO A PREPAID PROGRAM.  They are junk.
